Brenner is 2!!

My baby boy turned 2! We started out the day with balloons waiting for him on his highchair. He thought they were fun.

Then it was a pretty normal day, but we tried to fix his favorite foods and play the really fun games! That night Wayne scheduled himself to be home, so we were able to have our family party.

Brenner's cake was partly inspired by my cousin Lindsay who did a pumpkin cake for her son last year, and by Brenner who is obsessed with the pumpkins around town.

Brenner got his own lawn chair for his birthday. He always sits in mine at the games, so we decided he needed one of his own. He LOVED it and didn't want to get out...even for more presents. He also got books, a caterpillar alphabet pal, and a push popper.

Not too long before his birthday we had decided he was ready for a big boy bed, so our present to him was buying another set of bunk beds and setting him up in a bed. He's adjusting well to it, but this is what we found one day when we put him down for a nap. He had gotten out of his bed, was playing with his laundry basket and had fallen asleep behind the door. Funny kid!

Brenner is our sweet little menace. He keeps me on my toes and takes full advantage of any down time I try to have. But he also is the cutest little guy with the best facial expressions, cuddles, and loves around. He adores his brothers and even more so his Daddy and we wouldn't trade him for anything.
