Family Trips-Nauvoo

In the beginning of October, we met some wonderful friends from Omaha, that we miss dearly, in Nauvoo. We shared a 3-bedroom condo and had a great weekend together. Aiden and Laura are best buddies. We were also delighted to find that Brenner and Andrew hit it off.
It may not look like it, but Andrew is actually a year younger than Brenner and was more babyish when we left NE.
We went around Nauvoo to see all the wonderful history. We took an oxen ride those things are HUGE All our cute kiddos
When trying to figure out a way to keep the kids entertained before dinner, Jarrett came up with a great idea to use the ropes we had made that day and make a rope swing. The kids loved it. My boys had to get one last swing before we left and are hoping they find it still there the next time we visit Hey it could happen.
Unfortunately, we didn't get a group picture with both families. Guess we'll just have to meet up again soon so we can take a picture.
After church on Sunday, we walked by the temple It's a beautiful temple. And I love this monument of Joseph and Hyrum Smith leaving Nauvoo. Then a nice lady took a family picture in front of the temple. It was such a nice trip.
